SetClub Hôtel & Spa

There’s plenty to do here, with a gym, spa, three swimming pools, tennis and padel courts, plus a slide for kids. The pools were clean and well kept, and the hotel was very clean and organized. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, with superb croissants, yoghurt, and fresh fruit, though I missed having vegetables. The restaurant food wasn't great and was very expensive. You'll need a car to eat elsewhere, since there are no other options. Generally, a great spot to relax.

The room was hard to sleep in, with so much morning light coming in because screens covered one side but not the other. The bathroom had nowhere to hang things, so a wet towel or swimwear ends up out in the hallway, and the shower's hair and body gel was empty. There was no fridge for a cold bottle of water, even though temperatures in this area are +30 degrees. There are also no bathrobes to wear when you go to the pool. It's a nicely decorated hotel with lots of sports options, but some of its choices are strange.

There’s a lot of potential here, but the rooms are missing some basics: nowhere by the bed to plug in a phone, no small table beside the chairs, no minibar, and nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. The hotel is new and the facilities are great, and the employees were friendly. But Housekeeping forgot to make our room, and the restaurant service was quite bad. Maybe they just need more time to sort out those little details.

Getting around the hotel is a hassle. It's far from reception, the pools, and breakfast, so you have to walk a few minutes. There are no phone chargers next to the bed and no robes in the room. It feels like nobody thought about the actual guests staying there. This hotel was built by aliens, no other way to describe it.
