Campanile NATURE - Aix Les Bains

The room was nearly perfect, and the place was really comfortable and spotless. The staff were friendly and so supportive. At night there was an English-speaking man whose name tag I think started with A, and on the day shift there was a lovely silver-haired English-speaking lady. Both helped me a lot, and I’m very grateful. I’d recommend the hotel and would come back if I had the chance and everything worked out. Just a couple of small things for the company to consider. I’d personally prefer something other than paper cups, though there’s nothing wrong with them. Sometimes I smelled cigarette smoke in the toilet even though I don’t smoke, perhaps because of the ventilation or building layout, but I don’t see it as a shortcoming. One small bulb on the left side of the wall lamp was out. The lamp still worked fine with its other three bulbs, but it could be replaced when possible. For anyone without a car, it’s about a 45 minute walk from Aix Les Bains, or you can take bus No1 from outside the train station. It stops at the hotel doorstep and takes about ten minutes. The quiet, peaceful location away from the station and city center is lovely. Thanks for the wonderful service and place. Take care.
