Hôtel Savoy

We left without even daring to sleep there. What a disgrace to offer a room like that. We booked on August 18, 2022, and found a French door opening onto the back courtyard and garbage bins, with hotel staff making noise and looking in through our window. The door wouldn't close, so anyone could have walked in. The bathroom was filthy. Is that even a room? Nobody would want to sleep there. Avoid at all costs!

What a scam, avoid this place at all costs! The managers are crooks. They keep taking reservations while the hotel is closed, don't answer the phone, and if you've already booked, they text you an hour before arrival to move you to the hotel by the train station, which is probably run by the same people. It's a real shame you can't give zero stars.

The location is good, but I arrived after making a reservation to find the hotel closed with no reception. They offered me a completely different hotel near the train station when I called. It took six months to get my money back.

We stayed in August 2018, and this place felt like a complete rip-off for a two-star hotel. The state of disrepair was worrying, and it was extremely noisy, not just outdated. The casino ventilation across the street was unbearable, and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. It badly needs a full renovation.
