The meals were a real highlight, especially the lunch and picnic, and that pasta was amazing. I forgot to take a photo, so make sure you try some! The rooms, house, and garden are beautiful, and the setting is incredible. Thank you, Marie Laure, for such a fantastic stay.

It was lovely to get a chance to use the French I learned at school years ago. We had a great time enjoying Marie Laure's cooking, hearing her stories about places, and spending time with the other guests. The atmosphere was wonderful too. Thanks so much for everything!

The location is high in the mountains, around 25 minutes from Corte along narrow mountain roads, and you may find yourself sharing the place with cows. We stayed at Couvent d'Alando and enjoyed the dinner in the main dining room with the other guests. It was very good, three courses with alcohol for 24 euros per person, though the portions were a little small. Marie-Laure was welcoming and looked after us well. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with a nice bathroom. A wonderful stay if you're looking to explore the nearby region.

The owner was warm and thoughtful, and she even suggested a great hike. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and really nice. All the food was homemade and delicious. Our best stay in Corsica!
