The hosts were kind, honest, and eager to help, and the local food at breakfast was very good. Inside, the gite is plainly decorated but has everything needed, with fresh, clean towels and bedding. There are plenty of things for children to do nearby. We had a pleasant stay for a fair price. The broadband/WiFi struggled at times when all three of us were connected, though that's common in many rural parts of France. Thanks!

We were given a lift to and from the station, and the hosts made us feel at home throughout our few nights here in October 09. Breakfast was delicious, and we got to try some homemade wine. After exploring the area each day, it was lovely to come back to this warm, cosy retreat. It felt much more genuine than an ordinary hotel. We'd happily stay again.

I only wish I'd had longer here to enjoy the pool and animals. Everyone was so friendly, and they kept smiling and laughing as they did their best to understand my horrible French. It was a peaceful, welcoming place to visit and stay. Thanks for such a great first experience in France!

The showers and toilets were barely adequate and not clean. They aren't heated, though at least the water is hot. From the camping car spot, getting there means taking a dirt track and crossing wet grass, and it's quite a walk. WiFi seemed to reach only the main building, with no signal near the car. After two weeks of travelling, this was the worst site I've experienced, and at 18 Euros a night it's very disappointing. Not worth the price.

We loved our short weekend at Mas Bazan. It's a lovely rural spot, but still within walking distance of the village, and it's dog friendly. Geraud gave us great attention and recommendations, and the people were lovely. We'll be back for sure. Merci beaucoup!
