A Casa di Babbo

The rental was clean, well cared for, and just as shown in the photos and description. The tasteful decor and functional setup made it a comfortable place for our large family. There’s a master bedroom plus a big room with four beds. The bathroom has two sinks and a lovely walk-in shower, and we also appreciated having an outdoor shower. The person who welcomed us was very friendly and easy to reach if we needed anything.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who also gave us excellent advice. From May 14th to 21st, 2022, we stayed in this fantastic, spacious apartment, close to shops and the beach, with chocolate crepes nearby for anyone with a sweet tooth 😛. We loved having a cove just 50 meters away and a beach 200 meters away.

Once the car is parked in its private spot, there’s little reason to use it, since everything is within walking distance. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and nicely decorated, right in the center of a pretty, typically Corsican village. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

Jacky, the on-site manager, gave us a lovely welcome, showed us around the village, and was quick to answer whenever we contacted him. The apartment itself was quiet, spacious, and comfortable, with thoughtful personal touches. We spent five days there and were completely satisfied. Algajola was a charming little town, and we especially enjoyed evening walks along the rocks and paths around the citadel. It’s also well placed for visiting the Balagne region and the Agriates coast in Calvi. Punta de Spano was a particular favorite.
