Contact Hôtels Les Pierres Dorées

The pool is a real plus in hot weather, and rooms on the ground floor open straight onto a small, pleasant garden. The building feels more like a motel than a traditional hotel, but the rooms are quiet, comfortable, clean, and very well kept. The amenities are modest, though useful, and breakfast is good value in a comfortable dining room. Staff were friendly and capable, and kindly checked us in early after finding our room ready, even though we had arrived well ahead of schedule. This was our second or perhaps third stay on the drive back to Paris from the south of France, and it works perfectly for a family stopover. We'll return.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was good quality, and we'd recommend it. We also had a very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, and the room was spotless. Staff were attentive and really friendly with our dog too. We loved this one-night stop between holiday and home and will stay again.

The family had great fun here, especially with the pool and even service right by the pool. The food was great, the rooms were clean and had air conditioning, and Tesla chargers were available. The hotel manager was amazing. We'll definitely come back.

The room price is beyond any reasonable range for a hotel of this class, and there are plenty of alternatives. More than that, we weren't told that food would not be served. A hotel that can't be bothered to let guests know deserves not even one star. Thanks, but no thanks. We won't return to Les Pierres Dorées, and I suspect we'll avoid hotels associated with the Contact Hotels chain too.
