10/10
The grounds were lovely, and it's within walking distance of downtown and plenty of restaurants. Staff were friendly, and the rooms were incredibly quiet and comfortable. A beautifully restored historic inn.

Breakfast was generous and served in a stylish room with an old world feel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. With its on site car park and proximity to Amboise's main attractions, this hotel made a great base for exploring the Loire Valley. I'd gladly stay again and will recommend it.

8/10
The garden stays peaceful even though the hotel is central, and the staff were helpful. Our family suite had loads of space and the beds were really comfortable after the recent renovation. The only drawbacks were the view over the car park and the layout: both bathrooms open off the children's bedroom.

Friendly staff and a good breakfast made the stay easy. Parking was convenient, the rooms were fun, and the location was just right.

6/10
The setting is lovely and the property is beautiful, but the bed made it hard to get a good night's sleep. In our comfort room, booked for three nights, two single mattresses had been pushed together instead of using one double mattress. I know this is common in French hotels, but these moved around a lot. Staff tried putting a mattress protector over them, which didn't really fix it.
