We loved our three nights in Amboise. The hotel is a friendly boutique place in the heart of the centre-ville, with clean rooms that have everything you need, daily room cleaning and a restaurant. It's an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the supermarket, and just two minutes to the Chateau. The train station is about a five minute city bus ride for 0.80 euro, or a 20 minute walk. Nearby, try Benoit Thierry Patisserie for coffee, quiche and treats. E-Bicycle rental is close too at Loire Bike Rental. Take route bike 47 to Chateau Chenonceau, a 40 km round trip from Amboise.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, and we had a lovely meal in the hotel cafe/restaurant. Our room was comfortable and looked out over the outside cafe area. It's a very convenient place to stay in Amboise, which is a pretty town. We'd stay again. Thank you, Melanie and team, and sorry for my appalling French 🇫🇷 😃 x

A really welcoming place, with a big, clean and tidy family room. It felt very generous compared with other hotels in the same category.

They cancelled my booking two days before I was due to go, saying they wanted to charge double for our room. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and profiteering! I didn't give them the satisfaction and booked another hotel nearby. Do not book this hotel.
