Camping Le Parc de Vaux

The village is only a short walk away, and there’s a Carrefour nearby for supplies. We stopped here while cycle camping north on VF and got a friendly welcome. The pitches were great, and the toilets and showers were clean. Free swimming at the municipal pool next door was a nice bonus.

There’s a 150-person limit, so on weekends especially, it’s best to arrive early. The place is fairly small, with a main pool, a paddling pool, and a popular slide. You can also get ice cream and drinks at the chalet, which you can reach from the pool. A nice family day out when it’s sunny.

We were back for one night this year and realised only after arriving that we’d stayed here the year before. Our pitch was right by the river. Last year we stayed for a couple of nights and biked along it. They’ve renovated the shower block near our pitch since then. Nice site and reasonably priced. We arrived on Sunday 16th September2018.

Plenty of space on the pitch. Great site.
