The restaurant food was really tasty, and the staff were so friendly. A lovely little hotel. I’ll definitely come back!

The menu of the day was really good, and the regular menu had some great choices too. We found the restaurant while cycling and looking for food. It was busy with locals at lunchtime, which probably says it all. Prices were reasonable and the food was really good.

I got there just after 12 on a Sunday, and it was quiet at first but busy within five minutes. They were very accommodating about me being vegetarian, and had an omelette, chips, and salad ready in minutes. Excellent service, good local beer, and plenty of water for a thirsty cyclist. Just what I needed, right on the La Velo Francette route.

When we visited on 13th August, the hotel was closed, with a notice saying it would reopen on 28th August. We found it incredible that a hotel would shut during what must surely be the busiest time of year.

The room was adequate and the price was good. This is a travellers’ hotel in a perfect spot along the "Velo Francette". The landlady was quite efficient, and breakfast was OK. It’s not a very romantic place.
