Hotel au Pigeon Blanc

I was on a business trip and got room 4. If they offer it to you, run, because I’m convinced it had bedbugs. I woke up with more bites each morning, but once I’d left the hotel, no more appeared. I called politely to let them know so they could treat the room, and they said it was impossible because they checked every day and I must have been bitten somewhere else. If they really check daily, that suggests there’s been a problem before. I’d have preferred an honest answer. I wouldn’t have written a review if they’d been straight with me.

The village is pleasant and has pretty much everything nearby: a bar/betting shop, bakery, supermarket, burgers, pizza, kebabs, a hairdresser, and more. The hotel itself is a charming little place, like the ones you used to find in town centers. The owner is helpful and flexible, and they serve breakfast and lunch. Rooms are simple but well equipped.

The service was really good, with no waiting, and the staff were lovely. I had an excellent meal and would definitely recommend it.

The owner really pays attention to her guests’ well-being, and at Le Pigeon Blanc there’s always a solution. They can provide ready-to-heat meals depending on when you arrive. A pleasant room made this a lovely stop on the road. Thanks to the team.
