The room sizes were incredibly small. Maybe that’s normal in Paris, but they don’t work by international business travel standards. I also had a strange chute where rainwater ran down and dripped noisily all night when it rained. On my last day, the only lift broke, so I had to carry my cases down a tight spiral staircase. That was okay for me, but I’m not sure what an elderly or disabled guest would do. The breakfast was quite nice. The entrance felt odd, with a buzzer and reception on the first floor. The location was fairly good, about 20 minutes by taxi from Gate Du Nord, and you can walk to Place de la Concorde, Cambs Elise, and the Louvre. It was okay overall, though I suspect there are better options.

The hotel was hostile when we asked for help with our booking, so I can’t recommend staying here. We accidentally reserved the wrong dates and contacted them right away, but they wouldn’t change the stay period or give any refund. I understand that policies exist, but a little flexibility or customer support would have gone a long way. The experience was very disappointing.

The location is amazing, and the receptionist was kind and professional. The room was very clean. I did have some doubts about the price, but I had the best stay here and highly recommend the hotel.

When my partner asked Samantha about a late checkout, she said they were fully booked without even checking the booking. She came across as rude and could’ve been more helpful. We had to check out at 12, and I wouldn’t come back.

I’m writing from Türkiye. My wife had emergency heart surgery and has been told she can’t fly, so my family and I can’t make our four-night stay at Opera Madeleine. We’d booked a family room for four on the economical, non-cancellable rate for January 25th/29th. We definitely plan to come in the coming months, so please help us change the dates.
