The house and location are great, and the hosts are nice. Still, we were told off for not warning them that we wouldn’t have breakfast. We understand they’d bought croissants for us, but they could have offered them for us to take along instead of lecturing us. That wasn’t a good way to treat guests. They also insisted our booking was for three, even though we’d clearly booked for four. I’d still recommend the place based on the other positive reviews, but this is how our own stay went.

We’ll definitely plan another stay here on our next cycling trip. During our three weeks cycling in beautiful France, Sam and Patrick welcomed us warmly at Mas Suejol. Our room, chambre des camisards, was a treat, beautifully decorated, spotless, and tucked up on the top floor. We had a delicious picnic dinner by the pool using the outdoor kitchen, then watched an extraordinary sunset and got a good night’s rest. Seeing Sam feed the goats was another lovely moment. In the morning, breakfast was generous and tasty, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. Sam, thank you for taking our birthday photo and sending us off with such warm encouragement and good wishes.

A spacious, comfortable house above Anduze, nicely renovated and with a pool and well-equipped kitchen. It’s a perfect place to stay.

I spent two days here in May 2026 for a birthday celebration, and the cottage felt like home. It has a wonderful country charm, both authentic and stylish, with lovely greenery and mountains all around. We especially appreciated the pool and professional outdoor kitchen on such a summery weekend. It’s a magical place for a really special occasion, I’d happily recommend it.

We had a very pleasant stay, and the staff were quick to respond and helpful. The farmhouse is beautiful, well equipped, clean, and well maintained. The setting is superb, and the outdoor kitchen and pool area were lovely, especially with the good weather. One drawback: two bedrooms have no doors, and one of them is hard to get to.
