Everything was very clean, and the apartment had good facilities. It’s in a lovely part of Angers, just a few minutes on foot from the cathedral, castle, and plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops.

The owner apologized, but it felt half-hearted, and they wouldn’t offer any compensation. We’d contacted them after finding there was no hot water or heating. They said they’d take care of it the next morning, but by then we still had neither.

The apartment has been renovated beautifully, while keeping its original charm. It’s peaceful, right in the heart of Angers, and the cathedral view is breathtaking. Shops and the castle are only two minutes away. There’s no parking, so plan for unloading your luggage. That seems to be the case throughout Angers. Definitely worth a visit!

I was there with my two children, aged 3 and 6, and didn’t notice any problems. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and it was quiet even in August. Right in the center, with a view of the cathedral. Convenient and highly recommended! Maybe the previous reviewer came in the off-season?

The apartment is laid out well, but the building is very noisy. Women are working there as prostitutes, and lots of men are constantly coming and going. I’d avoid bringing children.
