The ocean view, beachside location, and friendly staff were the best parts. Meals were good too, and there was a nice range of baby food, plus activities for kids and adults and a kids club with kind staff. But for what we paid, the upkeep really needs work. Our room wasn’t cleaned at all during our nine-night stay. Someone changed the sheets once, but the floor was left unswept, so anyone with a dust allergy may want to avoid it. The whole place felt worn down, with rusty heaters, no AC, and stains on the ceiling. It came across more like a student dorm than an expensive hotel.

The restaurant waiters and cleaning staff were lovely, warm, and helpful, and they made the stay better. The accommodation itself was just okay for the price, though. On our second night we needed two extra shower towels. My husband asked at reception and got a rude response. The employee acted as if he was a nuisance and said we should have brought our own because the club “isn’t a hotel.” That left a bad impression. It was an okay visit, but we probably won’t come back.

We really enjoyed our five nights here. The bar and terraces were pleasant, and there were new kids club activities each day and evening. We had a premium ocean-view room that was clean and lovely, though a little small. Breakfast and dinner had loads of choice and were great. The location is great too, and the price felt fair for the quality, especially since it wasn’t high season yet. Really, really nice 👌🤩

The views over the ocean are lovely, and there are great surf beaches close by. That setting is a big plus. The cleaning, though, was a serious problem throughout the club, including the shared dining areas. Our room was dirty when we arrived, with sand on the floor and cleaning that hadn’t been done. Nobody came to clean during the stay, and the sheets and beds didn’t smell good. They said towels would be replaced during the week, but that happened just once. Management really needs to deal with this, because it ruined the experience.

Surfing is right outside, the August beach isn’t too crowded, and even from the first floor the ocean view is great. The location is the one real plus. The windows are small and set low, though, so the room felt like a basement suite. The place is filthy and badly kept. The vinyl flooring on the way to our room was coming apart and could trip someone. I haven’t seen any housekeeping staff, only people working in the restaurant and at the evening shows. The kids club is there, but the shows are really bad. My 12yo left the pirate show after 10 minutes. This definitely isn’t a four-star hotel. Two stars at best, and that’s generous. I was looking forward to staying here, but I’m extremely dissatisfied and won’t return.
