The bed is fantastic, and I always sleep really well here. The shower’s great too, and the magnifying mirror is a real help. The toilet area is oddly positioned and a little dark. The rooms are just adequate, but perfect for a stopover. That carpet, with its awful swirly patches of different shades, isn’t restful at all, and it’s hard to spot anything you drop. I’m sure plenty of people lose things in it.

It’s well placed for the Biarritz airport, which you can reach on foot. My room was clean and the furnishings were all in good repair, though it felt a bit basic and small. There were no luggage racks.

The price felt fair for what you get, and I’d stay again, which says a lot. The rooms were clean and the bed was good. Dinner is available until 10:00 PM, or longer. Breakfast was the French sort: crisp bread, some meat and cheese, apple, croissant, juice and pancakes. I missed vegetables, but for a French breakfast, everything was great 🤗. I like Ibis in general because you know it’ll be at least normal. This one was good enough 🤗. The location’s good too, close to the airport and walkable.

For the price, I expected better. There was very little storage and only one set of towels, with no face or hand towels. At the very least, the towels could be changed every day. The stay was otherwise okay.

The rooms weren’t satisfactory, even though the desk was great. The air conditioning wouldn’t go below 23c (85F), and when I asked, I was told to open the windows. The drains were slow too, so a shower couldn’t last more than 3 minutes. For 150 euro, I’d expect better.
