The town is lovely, close to the Spanish border, and there are lots of hotels nearby. We had plenty of parking spaces outside this one, and the staff were quite pleasant. The small room was as expected, but its layout was strange. The toilet was in a separate cubicle with huge gaps above and below the door. The shower was transparent and opened straight into the room, with a mirror opposite, so anyone in bed could see you getting in or out. I also had to make up the bunk bed, which should have been ready. Breakfast wasn’t amazing, though it had most things you’d expect. For France, the baguette should have been much better. It was okay for an overnight stop, but next time I’ll probably book ahead and stay at the other Accor hotel on the same road.

I have an onion allergy, and both the tour operator and I asked three times for onion-free food. The waiter assured me there was no onion in my meal, but I realized there was when my mouth started swelling. No apology, and no action was taken. I told the receptionist, who had to get a police escort to the pharmacy so I could get tablets. It was dangerous and avoidable.

We stayed for Waves and Wheels weekend. The hotel was as expected, and the staff were all friendly. Breakfast is definitely worth having. If you want a quiet night, ask for a room on the side away from the busy road. We were very happy with our choice.

A handy little hotel, close to everything. We had a family room with one large bed and two singles. The bathroom is basically one big shower, which is pretty cool since you can shower using the whole room. There was a slight odor, and the place seemed like a converted hospital, but overall it wasn’t bad as somewhere to crash.

We’ve been stopping here on our trips to Spain and back to the UK for so many years that I’ve lost count, and it never seems to disappoint. I always sleep well and enjoy breakfast before setting off. The staff are attentive every time and ready to help with anything. My wife and I will stay here again at some stage. Thank you.
