The view from the terrace is superb, and the house is beautifully decorated and ideally located. We slept soundly and had a delicious breakfast. Our charming hostess gave us a very warm welcome and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. A real bonus for cyclists: there’s a secure basement for bikes, and she didn’t mind our luggage on a rainy day. Highly recommended.

Just steps from the center, with a parking space, which is a real luxury. The house is beautiful, the terrace is fantastic, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and lovely. We slept really well, and the breakfast was very complete, with homemade eggs and more. The hostess is friendly and welcoming. Fantastic location, highly recommend it. Thank you!

Right in the center of Angoulême, this beautiful old house has a slightly old-fashioned charm. Michelle, our hostess, was very pleasant and welcoming. The services weren’t very expensive, and everything was impeccable.

A quiet, privately run bed and breakfast, fairly central and with a very friendly welcome. The owner was extremely friendly, though very busy, and breakfast was good.

If you want a relaxing weekend in Angoulême, I’d avoid this place. The welcome felt overwhelming, with questions about how big our suitcase was and what we left on our breakfast plate. We were expected to pay close attention to instructions for every light switch and remote, avoid touching the wallpaper or slamming the door, and remember that electricity is expensive. The place is packed with fragile objects, and the hostess gets angry if your child goes near them. Definitely not suitable for children, or for anyone hoping to relax.
