LE PALAZZO - Appartement plus parking privatif - V-RENT

Getting into Annecy city centre each day was a bit difficult. For example, it's a 30-minute walk to the Tourism Office. Still, the place works well for families, with a fully equipped kitchen and free private parking.

The apartment is around 20 minutes from Lake Annecy, so the location suits you if you like walking, and having a parking space is a plus. The downside is the poor soundproofing. It feels like the neighbors are practically in the apartment with you, which is a shame.

We paid over €130 for one night and came away feeling cheated. The apartment was dirty, and even the dining table was badly damaged. Getting checked in took repeated messages, and we waited outside for more than 30 minutes. Things seem to have gone downhill quite a bit over the past year, so we can't understand the good reviews. Thankfully, we'd only planned to stay one night. We wouldn't come back even if it were free.

I wouldn't return. I expected a hotel, but it's just regular apartments, two on each of two floors joined together. “The Palazzo” is only the name on the apartment door. There aren't enough dishes or teaspoons, and the pots and pans are especially lacking since the ones there are very old and worn. And that colander 😁👍.
