Arbois Le 1876

It was quiet and only a five-minute walk from the center, with restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby. There’s plenty to do in the area, and I would gladly have stayed longer. The apartment felt cozy and welcoming, and everything was clean and nicely furnished. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs; downstairs are the kitchen, living room, and toilet. The kitchen had what we needed, including coffee and tea, and there was tourist information and a range of route maps. It was warm enough, and we could adjust the heating ourselves. I recommend it.

The road next door is busy, though it didn’t bother us. We also would have liked more thorough dusting. La Verrière gîte was a fantastic stay for two, tastefully decorated and laid out very well. Towels and linens were provided, and we loved having a little private courtyard to sit outside, with a cherry tomato plant as a bonus. It’s an easy walk to Arbois town center using the side street to avoid the main boulevard. There’s a supermarket nearby with an electric vehicle charging station.

Charming place, just a short walk from the city center. It was welcoming, clean, and tastefully decorated, with everything set up to make you comfortable. I highly recommend it!

The cottage is thoughtfully laid out and well equipped. We had a great stay in a quiet area, still an easy walk from the town centre.
