La Villa du Moulleau

La Villa du Moulleau made a wonderful start to our holiday. Wael and his team were outstanding, and the place feels special, close to lovely restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. We were surprised how quickly we reached the center of everything: just down the street, turn left, and there you are. We absolutely loved it!

The room we got was on the ground floor, very dark, and had no window, with only a partial garden view. The hotel was full, so changing rooms wasn't possible. On the website, though, the pictures showed only an upstairs room with a balcony and garden view. Some very unpleasant, personal remarks from the staff made the stay even worse. We were very disappointed. It fell well short of the expected standard and wasn't worth the price.

Not many facilities, but the service was good and the location was good too. It was clean, with nice decor and gardens, and the breakfast was decent.

Hidden away in the back streets, Villa du Moulleau was a quiet little oasis close to the beach, restaurants, and jetty. Reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. The room suited our family of four perfectly and still felt elegant. A little slice of heaven.
