There’s plenty of space, and the location is handy, with parking that makes unloading luggage simple. But the cottage feels very dated, and being there alone could feel depressing. The hosts don’t always explain how things work clearly. They also ask for a security deposit check when you leave. If you’re going to clean, bring your own products because none are supplied, and the cleaning wasn’t very good.

The village is charming and well worth visiting, and the guest rooms are spacious, cozy, clean, and well equipped. We had such a warm welcome, with the hosts thinking ahead to what we might need. Breakfast was simply perfect, and a clean dog is welcome too. Thank you for being so kind, and congratulations again on the beautiful decor in your wonderful building.

We could picnic in the garden at the lovely tables, and there were rowboats available to use. The private parking area was nice too. We stayed two nights, and the hosts greeted us warmly and gave us helpful advice. Breakfast was excellent, with pastries, homemade cake, fresh orange juice, cheese, yogurt, and jams in pretty jars. A really good stay.

The pool and rowboats are a great extra, and both are included in the rental. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated, with absolutely nothing missing. Such a warm welcome, too. We hope we can come back next year.
