The owner was incredibly welcoming and even kept in touch at night when we got lost. Everything was clean and tidy, and breakfast was excellent. It was rainy during our stay, but the hotel's warm, cozy atmosphere more than made up for the weather. We loved how small and thoughtfully arranged it was, and really enjoyed our time here. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it to everyone.

The room was spotless, and the bed was the most comfortable we slept in on our week-long trip. The renovation feels carefully done, with thoughtful touches like organic soap in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, with very fresh croissants, bread, fruit, and juice. Vari was wonderfully helpful and friendly, even offering to book us a table in town after our train was delayed. We ate at Auberge and were surprised to find such a lovely, lively restaurant in a small village. What a gem!

The design is tasteful, and the staff are friendly. We requested twin beds but unfortunately got a double, and the blankets were too warm for summer, though the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast buffet could do with a little more protein and fewer sweet options :)

The Marie Eder feels like a little sanctuary in Pays Basque. The hotel is beautifully decorated, fresh and modern, while keeping lovely original touches such as the stone walls. The coffee was great, lunch delicious, the staff lovely, and the bar well stocked.

We stopped here after a late flight into Biarritz, and it was a much more appealing choice than staying at one of the airport hotels. The family-run hotel has recently been refurbished and is under new ownership. It’s about a 15 minute drive from Biarritz airport, on the edge of a village in a beautiful stretch of hills above Biarritz. The team were friendly, parking was great, and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was basic but very good.
