We were served a lovely dinner, and our room was a good size with a large bathroom. A handy stop for pilgrims, since it’s only about 1 km off the route.

Marie Linne and Gilles were friendly hosts, and dinner was delicious. Breakfast was generous, too. The room was spotless and comfortable, with lovely countryside views from the windows. It was a great place to spend a night during our walking holiday and visit the Arcy Caves.

Breakfast was €9 and a very fair price for the quality homemade food. The manager was friendly, and the hotel also has a set-menu dinner with a great reputation, though we unfortunately couldn’t try it. We stayed for a nearby family gathering and were courteously welcomed by the owner. Our room was a little small for us, but clean, modern, and pleasant. The bathroom was modern and practical, and having a separate toilet was a real plus. The bedding was excellent and the soundproofing very good, so we slept wonderfully. If we’re back in the area, we’ll stay at "La Chaumière" again.

The rooms at the back were okay, despite the hotel being right beside a busy street. The hosts gave us a friendly welcome, and both dinner and breakfast were tasty and plentiful. Everything was very clean.

The rooms are simple, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere fantastic. The hosts are exceptional, in a superb building in a magnificent village. HIGHLY recommended.
