We had a great stay. The rooms were great, the shared areas and food were top quality, and the staff were so nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back with my family.

We’re leaving the day after tomorrow after 10 days here, with 11 nights booked. For less than 600 euros per person including half board, the price-performance ratio is very good. The location is brilliant for us motorcyclists, with beautiful spots and winding roads close by. The beach is under a 5-minute walk away, with clean fine-grained sand and gorgeous green-turquoise-blue water. The grounds are beautiful, with a 90s feel, but the hotel is worn out, dating from the 80s and 90s. Rooms are plain and tired too, down to stained, used fabric lamps. They clean the room only twice a week, Tuesday and Friday. The bed linen gets cleaned but isn’t changed, which is a minus. The food is quite German, often bland and not very spicy, though there’s always plenty to choose from. The staff are very friendly and do their best to look after guests. At this price, you shouldn’t expect luxury, but it’s a decent hotel where you can feel comfortable. Just be clear about what you’re paying and what comes with it. I’d recommend it to motorcyclists, and to people who want to enjoy a beautiful beach without spending too much.

Everything was really clean, and the staff were fantastic. We had a lovely stay in this quiet town, conveniently between Calvi and Ile Rousse, with lots of activities and good restaurants nearby. It would be helpful if buffet food labels were in both English and French for guests of different nationalities.

We stayed for three nights at the start of the season. The beach was a very clean 5-minute walk away, and we found the bus trip to Calvi and the mountains really interesting. A train also goes to Calvi for independent trips, and rental cars are available at reception. Algajola nearby is a nice village, but the restaurants were still closed for winter and renovations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was a good variety at the dinner buffet. The place must have been beautiful in its glamorous days, but it looked very outdated when we visited, as other tourists have apparently been saying for years. We didn’t find the rooms or furniture improved. The room smelled musty, and the beds were very soft. It was clean, but that mattered less with a room in such condition. We can’t imagine having booked it for 15 nights.
