Hotel Centre Plage

We had a good view of the street below, which was fun for people-watching. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and breakfast was good.

What stood out most was the service. The staff were genuinely lovely and helpful, and the Director of hotel was around and went out of his way to sort things out and make sure guests were having a good stay. I've never experienced hotel service at this level. The place itself is a little gem, spotless and nicely finished, with tasteful furniture and thoughtful details. The rooms are large, modern and comfortable, and the blackout blinds helped us sleep really well. Breakfast was very good, with nice little touches, and it was great value. The location is central, just seconds from restaurants and at most a two-minute walk to the gorgeous beach. Thank you so much, guys.

Beds were comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and there's AC in the room if you need it. The breakfast has a good choice. The beach is only 50 metres away, and Port Argelès is within walking distance, with restaurants all around. Parking is available opposite the property, though I believe it costs during high season and may be restricted on summer market days.

The location is hard to beat. The superb seafood restaurant Ty’Breizh and a grocery store are in the next block, and there's a large market across the street on Wednesday mornings. The port is 1 km away, while the sea, dozens of restaurants, bars, shops and a pharmacy are all 1-5 minutes on foot. There's activity nearby until late, but the hotel stays peaceful and outside noise wasn't too bad. Service was warm and friendly, and the owner really looks after both the guests and the hotel. Our superior room had a good sea view from inside and from the balcony, which was lovely for tapas and wine. The AC, mini fridge, shower and safe all worked well. It would have been perfect with a double bed, as ours had twin beds. Breakfast can be added for 12 euros/person and includes cheeses, cold cuts and boiled eggs among the choices. Our expectations were met. It's a great hotel for three nights, and I could happily stay longer. Definitely five stars for the reasonable price.
