The service made this stay for me. I left our dog's bed behind, and nearly three weeks later the Campanile staff had found it and left it at reception for us to collect on our way home. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and our room was clean, tidy and quiet. The aircon was welcome on a warm evening in mid September. It was also a handy stop on the drive from the Champagne region towards southern France. The lake nearby takes about 45 minutes to walk around, a nice leg stretch for two and four legged travellers. Reception and the cleaning team were outstanding.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we’ll definitely come back on our next trip. We had a lovely room with a comfortable bed, in a beautiful lakeside setting. The hotel is pet friendly, with a restaurant on site, a good menu and plenty of choice at the continental breakfast.

The bed was clean and quite good, and breakfast was okay. Having parking on site was convenient. But the room smelled damp, like a basement, and so did the towels, which didn’t seem fully dry. From outside the rooms look like a chicken coop for people, and inside it felt that way too.

The bathroom layout was odd, though it was a very minor issue. Otherwise, this was a lovely hotel in the chain. The young women working on Sunday 1st Evening were fantastic, spoke English and were great with our 1 year old. Dinner was good, and the continental breakfast was okay. The location is good, just 5 mins from the La Mans race museum.

There’s a nice lake nearby for a walk after a long drive. The place was friendly, clean and comfortable, much better than the other spots on the outskirts of Le Mans. We had dinner there and enjoyed it, and breakfast had a good selection.
