It’s a typical house with everything needed for a lovely stay in the charming city of Arras. There’s plenty of room, and it was mostly quiet when we visited in winter. We could see how nice it would be to eat outside on the patio in summer. A cozy place.

The room is beside the Gite owner's office, so once they arrive for work at 8.30, sleep and any chance of intimacy are over. There are also small signs that holiday guests' needs haven't been considered: blunt knives with no sharpener, a leaking downstairs toilet, worn seat cushions and mattresses, and electric scales with a battery that needs replacing. Bring mosquito repellent too. The Gite itself is not bad, but the upstairs en suite has two big problems. The sink unit smells strongly of drains all the time. We were told it couldn't be fixed because it's a general problem in Arras, though the downstairs sink units don't have the same issue.

We stayed at this very clean, pleasant gite while visiting the motorbike show at pecquencort.

The owners were attentive and friendly, and the quiet neighborhood made it easy to walk everywhere. The cottage is comfortable and decorated with lovely taste. I highly recommend it.
