I only meant to grab a quick lunch, and ducked in when the rain came unexpectedly. Such a lucky find. My table was sheltered and had spectacular views, with live piano music and a cheerful, lively crowd around me. The burger was cooked just right, medium rare, and all of it was delicious: the bread, meat, tomatoes, and fries. I was especially happy to find a salad dressed with olive oil and lemon, which you don't come across often in Northern Europe. The views were stunning, the food and service were top notch, and the atmosphere was incredible. The online photos really don't do the place justice. Highly recommend!

I wasn't sure about eating here after reading the earlier reviews, but I'm glad we gave it a try. We did have to wait a while for service. The food was satisfactory, though: my husband had the pizza and I had pork, and both were tasty.

We slept really well. The room was spacious, very clean, and soundproof, and the location right on the beach was amazing. Cynthia was so kind to us throughout our stay. La Maison du 6 is great value for the money, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

We went twice, and both visits were excellent. The mussels, RIB, ice cream, and tatin pie were good, and so was the red wine, cote du rhone. Portions were generous and the price fair.

Cynthia made us feel so welcome, and the room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, so don't miss it. La Maison Du 6 is an exceptional place to stay in Arromanches-les-Bains. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay. I hope I can get back again sometime.
