The breakfasts were fresh and simple, with local produce and really good coffee, and Monic even booked a restaurant for us. We had a fantastic week at Chambres d'Hotes Gainaa and loved every bit of our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The fridge and kettle came in handy for making lunches each day. Monic was such a friendly, accommodating host, with great ideas for activities and places to eat. She was patient with my French and replied in English, and we enjoyed our chats each morning. We’d happily recommend staying here while exploring the region.

Arudy is a charming town with beautiful scenery all around, and Monic’s house is a comfortable place to come back to. She’s such a kind, welcoming host. We’d definitely recommend a visit, and we’ll be back ourselves.

We loved the historic house and the little sitting area with hot tea just outside our room. Gainaa is right in the heart of Arudy, just a block from the central square. Monic is friendly and knowledgeable, and really makes you feel welcome. Our room was just right, with comfortable beds, high ceilings, and a large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with local products and baked goods Monic made herself. A lovely start before heading out for a hike. We’d highly recommend Gainaa!

Monique’s tips were spot on: good restaurants within 150m, massages and bains about 10 minutes away, and the pool was a real treat on a VERY hot summer day. We felt so welcome. Arudy is a pretty, quiet village, well placed for all sorts of things to see and do in the pyrenees. Thank you, Monique!!

Monique made our short visit one we’ll remember. She was warm, friendly, and ready to help with anything. I came with my wife and our 4yr old daughter, and the room worked perfectly for us. Everything was clean, the bed was amazing, and even our daughter’s bed was great. Breakfast was lovely, though she did break my eggs once, hehe. It’s easy to get to the Pyrenees, the ski slopes, and PAU, which was a gorgeous town with lots to see and do. Thanks from Hassan, Vanessa and Rose.
