ibis budget Béziers Centre Palais Congrès

The beds were comfortable, but the shower head attachment needs replacing because it sprays sideways instead of down onto you. We stayed three nights while the hotel was being refurbished. It was clean, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast needs more variety and a bigger selection. There were very few items, the fruit looked old and unappealing, there was no cold meat, and only one kind of cheese and spread.

The bed was fantastic and the service was good. A staff member spoke English and was helpful. The towel, though, was so small and thin it was nearly useless, so bring your own. The room is small and basic, and the hotel is a 20-minute uphill walk away because the centre is some distance from the station. If all you need is a bed, it's okay. If you'll be spending time in the room, I'd pay a bit more.

The one downside was the layout: the shower and toilet are separate, but the sink is in the bedroom. If you get up to use the bathroom at night, you risk disturbing your roommates ☺ We stayed for one night, April 10-11, 2018, just a couple of minutes from Beziers city centre. The room was thoughtfully laid out and spotlessly clean, and we had a peaceful, relaxing night. Everyone was kind and helpful. Anna gave us a city map and marked the places worth seeing. It was my daughter's birthday, and the hotel gave her breakfast for free. The buffet was fantastic and good value. We'd happily stay again, and I highly recommend it.

The room was oddly laid out, with a shower beside the bed that felt like the kind you'd see on an airplane. It was noisy, and I could hear everything from outside and in the hallways. The Wi-Fi was truly awful, and the hotel itself looked old, poorly maintained and rather ugly, with strange interior design. Parking costs extra and has to be reserved in advance. Otherwise, you have to find a street spot, which can be incredibly difficult. When my family and I arrived, the receptionist seemed grumpy and uninterested. I wouldn't stay here again.
