It was a quiet area, which we actually preferred, and the train made getting around extremely easy. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with good-sized rooms. It's a little outside central Paris, but a good base for exploring the city.

I travel for work now and then and stay at different hotels in the area. Before arriving here, I had a horrible stay at the Mercure Paris La Defence, so I was braced for another bad experience. Instead, the reception team welcomed me politely and took time to answer my questions about the room, breakfast, and other details that helped me feel comfortable. My suite was perfect. There was plenty of room, a river view, a small living area with a kitchen, and a table where I could work or eat. The bed was very comfortable, and the large shower even had a seat, so you could relax under the water. Breakfast was just right for me, with no morning queues and a manageable selection. There was no bacon, omelet, sausage, or beans, but there were warm, freshly boiled eggs, good bread, marmalade, pastries, fruit, and cookies. I'm not familiar enough with the area to say how convenient it is for getting to the center, but that honestly wouldn't put me off. I'm writing this before checking out because I wanted to say how much I recommend the hotel. I'm sure I'll book it again on a future trip.
