For just 15 euros, you get a delicious meal with a more sophisticated touch, and the portions and price feel very fair for the quality. The restaurant staff were friendly and patient with non-native speakers too. It’s a great option for travelers passing through the village, with brilliant service and food. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff really go out of their way, and the food is amazing. The rooms are comfortable too. A 10/10 stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

A delicious surprise dinner and a really comfortable room made this place feel like a little gem. I’d recommend staying here.

Hello. I’m sorry to hear the hotel has closed. I’m battling an illness myself, and I hope the place can reopen. I’ve spent 40 years working as a salesman and have seen a lot of hotels, so I have some thoughts about what might help. Closing on Tuesdays was the first mistake, in my view. People work during the week and need somewhere to eat after work, at lunchtime, or to get breakfast in the morning. They’re tired and could use some comfort. With the hotel shut on Tuesday, they can’t eat there after work and may have trouble finding parking elsewhere. The 8:30 breakfast start was another problem. Breakfast should be available at least from 6:00 to 7:00. This isn’t Club Med. People work all year and aren’t always on holiday. When you’re closed on Sundays, you could print and laminate a menu on one side, with “Asta Pizza at Tony's” on it, to direct guests to the pizzeria across the street. Keep them in the hotel, too. Put a small library there with comics like Asterix and Tintin, and a TV in the living room with the remote removed, left switched on so nobody argues over it. Board games would help as well, checkers, cards, tarot, dice, and plenty of other games. If the weather is bad, guests might stay in and enjoy them. You have to spend a little money to bring people in. You have a brand, which is an advantage. Cabrel isn't my favorite singer and his music isn't really my thing, but I like that he says what people think but don't say aloud. He doesn't mince words or shy away from speaking his mind. I admire Mr. Cabrel's frankness. Take my advice and you'll see results, I'd bet on it. I forgot one more thing: when the weather is bad, as I said, you need to dig deep and offer customers a free coffee or something. They'll talk to each other, and believe me, business will be crazy. I discussed this with Tony at the pizzeria. I don't know why, but I have a knack for sensing when a business will work. When I can tell one won't, I just can't feel it, and I told the receptionist that every time I came to Agen, to that magnificent hotel. Such a shame, such a waste. I don't know who decorated the hotel, but that person has incredible imagination and is a genius at it. The decoration was magnificent. My name is Mr. Choual. I don't have long to live, and I listened to Tony's advice. I gave him every suggestion I could think of, and I don't want anything in return. I promised my clients in Agen that I would come back, and I'm a man of my word. I don't know when, but I know I will. I'm fighting illness and hope I live long enough to see the hotel reopen. It would do me a world of good. I guarantee that if you understand what I'm saying, customers will spend money while staying sheltered from bad weather. That's what building relationships means. The customers become like friends, and you'll succeed with the pizzeria next door. It's convenient, so people won't need to go into town or pay for parking on Sundays. I have 40 years of experience. I know, and I've got a knack for it.

When my father says something, he has a feel for a good deal, so listen to him. But I have something to say too: I want my father to live as long as possible. My name is Carmelo, I'll say it again in Italian: Mi chiamo Carmelo.
