Auberge Des Pins

Sarah greeted me with a radiant smile, and what a surprise this place was! Her family has just taken over this exceptionally charming establishment. The rooms are immaculate, the food is delicious, and there’s attention to detail everywhere. I’m fully behind their business takeover project. Taking over a business means dealing with complicated administrative procedures, as you know. So I’m not thanking the nasty people who left so many negative comments when everyone here is clearly putting their heart and soul into it. Fellow entrepreneurs and local citizens, I encourage you to leave as many positive reviews as you can to support this fabulous takeover. “You, the Auvergnat, who's so unassuming...” You know the rest. Thank you for everything.

A terrible experience. I’ve rarely dealt with such an unpleasant manager. A simple disagreement about a cancellation turned into an extremely aggressive exchange that came close to being insulting. She kept cutting me off, wouldn’t let me explain, then hung up. That kind of conduct is unacceptable in a hotel. I strongly advise against staying here because of the management’s complete lack of respect and professionalism.

The only positives were the location and parking. The advertising was misleading, the room was nothing special, and the person who greeted us didn’t speak French. We had to pay as soon as we arrived. Dinner choices were limited, and if you’re very hungry, you could leave still hungry. The shower mixer was stuck at 50 degrees Celsius, so it was impossible to shower. Breakfast was mediocre too: I don’t drink coffee, so I chose hot chocolate, but the milk was lukewarm. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Watch out for the bill, it’s more like what you’d expect at a gourmet restaurant. The paella and industrial dessert were especially disappointing. I don’t usually leave this sort of criticism, and they must be doing their best, but what a shame. Don’t fall into the trap.
