The Canal de Berry is right nearby, which made this a lovely base for walking and cycling. Our room was clean and looked well cared for, and the staff were friendly, efficient, and spoke good English. The food was simple but tasty, with generous portions at fair prices. There’s no dedicated parking, so we left the car on the street in this fairly remote rural area. Great hotel.

A handy little place to stop. The coffee was a bit better than the usual, often not-great French coffee. Just mind the terrace rule: no bikes up there! And if the owner seems grumpy at first, don’t let that put you off. He’s a sweetheart.

We didn’t stay overnight, though it’s also a Bed & Breakfast. The owners seem like people you could trust with that. They’re lovely and make sure you have a good time. It’s not a fancy restaurant, but a nice place to stop while exploring the region. The terrace is great for a small meal, with some good local dishes and familiar classics that work for kids. Nothing especially remarkable, just a pleasant stop.

We often stop here for a beer while cycling along the Canal du Berry. The location is nice, and the lady owner is lovely and friendly. The male owner, though, is rude and unpleasant.

After a walk along the canal, we stopped in for coffee. It was calm and peaceful, and the service was efficient without getting in the way.
