The kids were happiest in the lovely garden, and we had plenty of room to relax in a comfortable house with nice furniture. Nathalie made us a lovely French breakfast with excellent bread, homemade jam, and fresh juice. We came from the USA looking for a family stay with a real Languedoc feel, away from standard hotels. We were so glad we found her guest house, and we’ll come back!

Nathalie was a perfect hostess, with useful suggestions for all kinds of sights and restaurants across different tastes and budgets. The manor house itself is a dream, carefully and tastefully restored, with spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, and traces of its past alongside the conveniences of a good modern bathroom. It sits right on Aumes’s quiet central square, among the wineries known for Picpoul white wines, and close to the picturesque village of Pézenas. A beautiful spot between the Mediterranean and the Languedoc Alps. Nathalie made it easy to feel the place’s glorious past. Thank you, Nathalie!

Aumes is a quiet little inland village, away from the tourist crowds, so it’s a peaceful place to come back to after the beach or a day of sightseeing. Nathalie welcomed us with real kindness and was attentive to all our needs and wishes during the few days we stayed. The house feels like a haven, and our room was magnificent. I sincerely recommend it ❤️❤️
