Windsor Hotel

The staff were accommodating, and breakfast in the garden was nice. The Windsor Jungle Art Hotel is a good base for visiting Nice, close to the promenade in the Carré D’or neighborhood. The rooms are comfortable, and some have large tubs. You can get a voucher for the beach club, and a massage can be arranged too. Tréy bien!

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful trees and plants, with a lovely atmosphere. It's conveniently located, clean, and good value for money. I just wish there had been more rooms available when we visited Nice so we could have stayed longer and brought our children too.

We stayed three nights, and the location was great, with bars, restaurants, shops, bakeries, and all the essentials close by. It felt safe the whole time. The Promenade was an easy 8-10 minute walk and the train station took 10-12 minutes on foot. For the location, it was good value. The hotel was decent, and our group of four friends found it worked well as a base. The rooms were basic but had what we needed since we were mainly there to sleep. We didn't use the pool or eat at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd give it three stars.

The location is great, the garden is nice, and the beds are good. I liked the art deco kind of atmosphere they were going for, but the hotel needs a thorough renovation. Everything feels very old and poorly maintained, so it doesn't deserve four stars. For what you get, the room price was excessive, it should have been about a third of that. I expected some service at a four-star hotel, but no one showed us where the elevator was or helped with our luggage. The room had an old-fashioned, uncomfortable shower curtain, and two lights didn't work. They repaired them when we reported it, but it made me wonder whether housekeeping pays attention. A full renovation could make this a wonderful hotel with a nice atmosphere.
