We all had such a great time at Ibis Auray. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, especially at reception, and the hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do. Very highly recommended. Well done. Dave Packham and crew.

There’s no air conditioning, so in summer we had to leave the windows open just to breathe. That was a big mistake: there are no mosquito nets or usable curtains, and within minutes mosquitoes had taken over our room, like we were in the middle of a swamp. Go somewhere else if you can. I honestly don’t understand how this hotel gets 1 star, never mind 3.

You really need your own transport because of where the hotel is, though the lovely port of Auray is only 10 minutes away and bars and restaurants are within a 5-minute drive. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. Friendly, helpful staff, a bar in reception and a very good buffet breakfast. Recommended for a stay around Auray.

The food was good and everything else was great. It was a hot day, though, and there was no air conditioning or fan.

The staff are really nice, and the place is clean, comfortable and affordable. It’s well located too, with a great breakfast buffet that includes a gluten-free option.
