A lovely family-run B&B in a farmhouse that's been newly renovated.

Everything was spotless, and I really liked the style. Breakfast comes with bread, pastries, and good quality tea or coffee. I stayed overnight with my sister while we were heading north. La Maison d’Emmanaelle is warm and welcoming, and sits conveniently between the two highways southeast of Bordeaux. It's a relaxing place, with nice outdoor areas and a lovely reception room that can host family gatherings of up to 35 people. I highly recommend it, a wonderful discovery.

The owner was really friendly, and there are beautiful walks in the area. Charming house, with very comfortable beds and amenities.

We had all seven rooms, and they were perfectly ready when our family arrived for our son's wedding a few kilometers away. Breakfast was in the large dining room and out on the terrace. For bread and pastries, we recommend Le Fournil de 1903, but go early.

The owner welcomed us warmly and gave us good ideas for places to visit nearby. We only stayed one night as a couple, but would be glad to come back with friends for longer. It's a lovely gîte, tastefully decorated and fitted out with quality equipment. The large outdoor area is a real plus if you have a dog.
