The countryside views from the room were lovely, and the pool was perfect for cooling down at the end of the day. The room and en-suite were spotless, with tasteful decor and a really high standard throughout. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade preserves and homemade yoghurt as well. The hostess was kind, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Such a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed at L’Anctovilliere for one night before continuing our journey. It’s a pleasant place, and the hostess is kind and polite. After a long day driving, the garden pool was a welcome way to cool off. The rooms are lovely, though the bathroom door doesn’t lock and the beds felt a bit hard. Still, neither kept us from sleeping well. The area is beautiful and very quiet.
