Chabanettes Boutique Hotel & Spa

The spa is a must for a weekend here, and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere makes it easy to unwind. Ingrid and Tim run this family business, and the food was amazing. It’s in beautiful French countryside, a wonderful boutique hotel. Thank you both for a lovely stay.

We slept really well, thanks to a very good bed, and the rooms and fittings were high quality. The family made us feel welcome and were happy to suggest forest walks, towns and villages to explore. There are lovely forest trails nearby, where we saw hawks and deer, and the area’s geology and plants are interesting too. The four-course dinner was the best I’ve had, with wonderful local cheese and wine. In my opinion, the chef is a master. Prices were very reasonable, even for an aperitif before dinner. It’s a lovely family-run hotel in a quiet part of France, and we’ll be back for another holiday.

We had a huge family room for four, with comfortable beds, lovely linen and blackout curtains, so we all slept well. Tim and Ingrid greeted us warmly when we arrived and gave us plenty of tips for exploring the area. The views of the Puys and Massif Central were stunning. On our first night we had the four-course meal. It was beautifully presented and delicious. We also relaxed in the jacuzzi hot tub on a couple of evenings after long days out. An amazing boutique hotel, and we’ll certainly return before long. Many thanks!

The location was wonderfully peaceful, and the rooms were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the fantastic, affordable four-course meals. Our hosts also helped us plan days out and suggested local attractions. There was a huge selection of single malt whiskey too. We’ll be back!
