The busy four-way junction is right outside, so there’s quite a bit of noise. The location is convenient, but the stale, musty smell was awful. It badly needs fresh paint and a good airing. I’d avoid it if you can.

I slept really well in the garden room, and the window was wonderfully quiet. The bed was comfy, and although the building is old, it was very clean. Breakfast was €10 and had plenty to choose from, including fruit and eggs. Just be ready to use Google Translate, since the staff only speak French.

A good, simple breakfast and a lovely traditional feel. It’s a privately run hotel, and just right for an overnight stay.

We only stayed because our friends had booked it. The room was the worst we’ve ever had. There was an old blanket instead of a quilt, no ventilation or window in the bathroom, and the bedroom windows were mouldy. The bedside lampshade was thick with dust. The room badly needs an upgrade.

We had a quiet, comfortable room, and everything was clean. The staff were friendly, breakfast was great, and the location worked really well. Merci, it ticked every box.
