With two children, we especially appreciated how kind and understanding the owners were. It felt more like staying with family than at a hotel, and we're very grateful for their hospitality. The rooms were comfortable, and the garden was lovely, almost like paradise. The house and garden are even prettier than the photos, and the whole property was beautifully kept and spotless. Breakfast was plentiful compared with what's generally served in the country, though it may not be enough for anyone expecting a big continental spread. The location worked well for us, but you do need a car to explore the region. With one, everything is close, and Avignon is about 10 minutes away. We liked being able to shop for ourselves and have wine and cheese in the garden in the evening. The pool could use some attention. It was quite cold, and there were flies, insects and little bugs in the water since it's in the garden. With a baby, that made us cautious. A pool cleaning robot might be an easy fix. Thanks again, we truly loved our stay.

The photos don't show how beautiful Domaine de Rhodes really is. We had a spacious family apartment with air conditioning and all the kitchen basics we needed. It made a good base for exploring Provence with the family, and we also got to relax in the lovely grounds and enjoy the pool.

It's easy to drive from here to Avignon and the surrounding area, so the location worked really well for us. The grounds and original buildings are stunning, and the peaceful setting made it easy to sit outside undisturbed. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen could perhaps be updated, but they're functional and comfortable, and the place has what you need for a nice stay. The hosts and staff were friendly and attentive while still giving us space to enjoy our holiday. We can't wait to return.

We spent six nights here and found it a great base for visiting the hill towns around Avignon. Our room, the pink one, was large, and we enjoyed spending afternoons in the gardens. Breakfast each morning included cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereal and rolls or pastries. The owners were very accommodating whenever we asked for directions or ideas. A very nice B&B.
