L'Observance Bed & Breakfast

The hosts were gracious, breakfast was excellent, and the place is not far from the centre.

The breakfasts were fantastic, with fresh bread, cooked eggs if you wanted them, and figs grown in the garden. The hosts were relaxed and friendly, and gave us restaurant suggestions. They also brought wine and nibbles for my wife by the pool, though bring insect repellent to avoid bites. We had a week in the ground floor apartment opposite the breakfast room. It was fairly basic, but the shower was good and the bed was the best we've slept on while away. We're both tall and usually can't find a big enough bed, and we never agree about mattresses, until this one. Despite the extreme heat, the room stayed cool with the air conditioning already on when we arrived. Our daughter made the most of the pool whenever she could.

We were two couples, and the rooms were roomy enough for all of us. I loved the decor and the way the house was set up. The owners were lovely, made a great breakfast, and gave us helpful tips on where to eat and go. It felt cozy, like the house was ours too, and I already miss it. This was the most expensive place on our two week trip, but also the best. We will book again next time. Really, really recommended!

We stayed in the little apartment with our two kids, and it worked perfectly. The kitchenette was just right for picking up bread, cheese, and fruit to eat in when it was too hot to go out for lunch. The fridge held a decent number of beers and a few wine bottles for lazy evenings in the garden. The street was very quiet, the garden sheltered and private, and the hosts friendly. During the heatwave, the pool was lovely and cold every day. Breakfast was generous, with good local bread and pastries plus yoghurt, cheese, ham, and salami.
