Camping Les Volcans

There are two puys just a five-minute walk away, plus a GR trail starts at the gate. Even when the campsite was full, it stayed quiet, though this was just before the school holidays. The owners were friendly and helpful, the wooded setting was lovely, and the clean, modern shower block was great. It has most of what a bigger site offers, on a smaller scale. The free WiFi was the best I've ever had at a campsite. We visited in warm sunshine and would love to return, though I'm not sure it would be as enjoyable in wet weather.

The location was great and the place was quiet, with super-clean facilities and really friendly staff. Fresh baked goods from a local baker were delivered three times a week, too. We were impressed by everything and would happily recommend it. Maybe we'll come back to do some astronomy! Thanks for such a great stay.

Wildflowers, butterflies, wooded trails and beautiful views made this a lovely area for nature lovers. We explored the walks nearby and Lake Aydat, and would love to come back to see more of the region. The campsite is small but well run, with good-sized pitches, very clean facilities and a lovely pool looking out over the surrounding hills. We stayed four nights and wished we'd booked more. Highly recommend it.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we had a great stay. The restaurant food was fresh and delicious, and the bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
