Great room, lovely people, and a delicious breakfast. They went out of their way to make our late arrival work.

The heated pool was a hit with the kids after our long drive, and there’s a nice view over the valley. Rooms and location were great, and the owner was friendly. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk into the village, where there’s an OK square to have a beer while the kids play in the playground. With more time, there’s a very grand chateau nearby to visit. The Cave rooms even had surprisingly good Wi-Fi. I’d also recommend Restaurant Les Grottes, about a 10-minute walk away.

Dinner and breakfast were fantastic, and this was one of the highlights of our trip through France's Loire Valley. The whole place felt clean, modern, romantic, comfortable, and charming. The owner is one of the nicest, friendliest people you could meet, and the kitties and dog were an entertaining bonus. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. You won't regret staying here!

The hosts were so friendly and had plenty of tips on where to eat and what to do. Service was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and cosy with a big bathroom, and breakfast was good. There’s free Wi-Fi too. The setting is beautiful, within walking distance of the Azay let Rideau château, and the hotel is unusually built partly into the rock. I highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful cave hotel near Azay-le-Rideau, run by a family who give friendly, personal service. There are garden terraces and a clean pool, and they serve homemade breakfast in the mornings. I’d definitely recommend it!
