We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful valley just below lac Bleu, even though the weather didn't cooperate. The Chambre D Hote was comfortable, but the pillows weren't good and there was no shower gel in the bathroom. Breakfast was a key reason we booked: booking.com described a full English, which felt like a fun novelty for us. Instead, it was a nice breakfast of very French produce. That's not what was advertised. A full English would mean English bacon and sausage, fried eggs and toast, beans, tomatoes, black pudding, mushrooms, and plenty of ketchup and HP sauce.

The outdoor setting is fantastic, and the staff were friendly. We only stopped for a beer, but it was delicious 😊. The menu looked very inviting, so we'd love to come back one day and try a meal.
