This was our 2nd Stay with Ludivine, and we hope to come back soon. The welcome is wonderful, and she really looks after you. The location is fantastic, close to everything you need but still peaceful. The swimming pool is lovely, and everything has been built so well. Our room was large, beautifully decorated and had a powerful shower, double sinks, and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was so good, with homemade local delicacies.

We booked at the last minute for a night in September and got there too late to use the swimming pool, though it looked very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the host was fabulous. Breakfast was fresh with plenty to eat. Would definitely recommend.

This was my second stay at Les Cuves, and I hope to keep coming back. I absolutely love the place, and the room is so comfortable it really feels like a 5 star hotel. Ludivine is a wonderful host. If I could give her 20 stars, I would.

The traditional French breakfast is delicious, especially the locally made apple jam and amazing croissant. I love the superb decor, and it's comfortable without costing too much. The swimming pool is amazing in the Summer. This is my 3rd time here, and I don't even look for an alternative. LuLu (the owner) is super nice and always happy to help if you need to arrive late or leave early. Cannot recommend it more. 💚

We had a very impressive stay and a great base for exploring Saintes and the surrounding area. The room and whole house were beautifully clean. During our 3 night stay, the welcome and hospitality were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble, from advice about the area and breakfast to even a cheeky beer before the evening meal.
