Maison Bethel

We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday here and I’d happily recommend it for a sunny break. The house is close to the shopping center and town center, but the neighborhood stays very quiet. It’s spacious and well-equipped with modern comforts. The lovely garden and superb pool with sun deck are great, and the enclosed grounds are handy when you have children.

Terrible value for money!!! There were ants all over the house and terrace, and the grounds felt neglected. Trees had been cut down and left lying there, while dead leaves and pine needles kept blowing onto the terrace from morning to night. The outdoor equipment was in rough shape too. The sun lounger cushions weren’t inviting, the ping-pong table was in very poor condition, and the laundry umbrella was falling apart. We had a nasty surprise when we arrived. The owner had clearly said there was no air conditioning and that several fans would be available, but there was just one fan for all six bedrooms. From day one, a major leak in the downstairs bathroom meant we had to mop up 10 to 30 liters of water every day, until the hallway flooded. The owner didn’t make any repairs before we left. The refrigerator was also malfunctioning, so we had to throw out all our frozen food. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this holiday villa for a relaxing vacation!

The pool was a nice warm temperature, and the landscaping is beautiful. There’s a toilet and shower by the pool, as well as a BBQ, petanque court, and playhouse for kids. The house is lovely and clean, with everything we needed and at least 90% of the amenities.

A great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings, and good weather is guaranteed! We had a wonderful stay in this large house with all the amenities. It’s in a residential area, so it’s not suited to noisy groups. Enjoy the peace and quiet.
